About the Journal

“Lomonosov Pedagogical Education Journal " has been published since 2003 and is a peer-reviewed publication of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The journal publishes materials containing the results of methodological and theoretical research in pedagogy and related areas of scientific knowledge, as well as general materials concerning the practice of training teachers in secondary and higher schools. The publication adheres to high ethical and professional standards, which is confirmed by compliance with all principles of the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications (COPE), including the absence of deliberately false information that could mislead readers or Authors, both on the official website of the journal and in published materials. Journal mission

The journal focuses on the presentation of the results of research in the field of pedagogy and teacher education, contributing to the preservation of the best traditions of Russian education and its further humanization. It aims as well to expand and enrich scientific knowledge not only in pedagogy, but also in philosophy, psychology and sociology of education.

Goals, scope and target audience of the journal

The purpose of the journal is to publish original fundamental and applied research carried out by Russian and foreign scientists on the problems of content and methods of teacher training for secondary and higher schools. Particular attention is paid to research aimed at reflecting on accumulated experience with the aim of subsequently introducing the most effective practices into the process of training for the future specialists.

The target audience of our journal is a wide range of specialists: teachers and psychologists, university teachers of pedagogical and other specialties, educators, young scientists (postgraduate students, undergraduates, applicants, students), practicing specialists and everyone who is interested in pedagogical and related problems.

“Lomonosov Pedagogical Education Journal" is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission, in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the scientific degree of Cand. Sci. (Sciences and for the scientific degree of Doctor of Science should be published.

Subject area of the journal articles

Articles published in the journal are materials containing answers from leading scientists to questions fundamental to education, relating to such problems as the future of education, the methodology of pedagogical research, the development of educational sciences and their role in the interdisciplinary study of the processes of teaching and upbringing, development and implementation of modern pedagogical technologies and methods in educational activities. The journal also reflects research in the field of history of pedagogy and education, as well as comparative studies that allow us to understand what the field of education looks like in the modern world.
